1. Always follow California Boating Laws.
2. Check the weather before boating.

4. Pay attention to navigational aids.
5. Have proper safety equipment onboard, P.F.D., Fire extinguisher, Signaling device, communication device.
6. Turn off your batteries before fueling.
7. Vent your vessels engine compartment after fueling.
8. Never overload your vessel.
9. Travel at a SAFE speed.
