2011 LONG BEACH LIFEGUARD HALL OF FAME
This summer our Lifeguard Hall of Fame is going to be held on Saturday, August 20th at the Long Beach Yacht Club.

7:00 p.m. Dinner
7:30 p.m. Program Begins
This incredible evening is for Friends and Family, but we need your help to make it possible. Attached are the Nomination Forms for the Hall of Fame Inductee and Nomination forms for Awards/Rescues.

If you would like to nominate someone for any of these awards, please write a quick summary and send it to the Hall of Fame Committee.
This years deadline for nominations is July 8th, please turn your nominations into any of the Committee members.
The purpose of the Hall of Fame is to honor former Long Beach Lifeguards who have brought recognition and honor to the Long Beach Lifeguards and the City of Long Beach. Inductees into the Long Beach Lifeguard Hall of Fame must have had outstanding achievements or contributions to the lifeguard service and/or the community to be considered for induction. In addition, an Inductee cannot be considered until he/she has been retired or left the service, in good standing, for a period of five (5) years. Individuals who have not served as a Lifeguard but have demonstrated a high level of volunteer support which contributed significantly to the success and quality of the Long Beach Lifeguards are also eligible for the Hall of Fame.
