Presidents Message

Welcome to the Long Beach Lifeguard Association Web Page. We have over 100 years of Lifeguarding tradition and history that we want to share with you.  Our calendar is full of upcoming events including the summer of 2007.  Our photo gallery is constantly being updated with pictures of our Dive Team, Swiftwater Team, Rescue Boats and Beach activities. We also have a section of our webpage, www.Longbeachlifeguard.com to contact us if you would like to help support us by purchasing Lifeguard Product or joining our Alumni Association.  Our Association supports many of our local programs and as well as a lifeguard program in Ecuador.  We have an Academic sponsorship program for our Seasonal Lifeguards who are attending college and Lifeguarding during the summer.  We are a proactive group, our members are constantly visiting schools throughout Long Beach to educate kids on water safety and career opportunities.  We have over 130 members, dedicated to serve the public who uses our beaches and waterways.  With over 1,200 past and present lifeguards that have given a part of there life to the safety of others, we want to say thank you for visiting our Webpage and learning more about our family.
